It has been revealed to me that a group of jinn listened and said, ‘We have heard a wondrous Quran, which guides to right conduct, so we have believed in it, and we will never associate anyone with our Lord.’”

And He, Exalted is He, said:

“And when We directed a group of jinn towards you to listen to the Quran, upon hearing it they said, ‘Listen attentively.’ When it was concluded, they returned to their people as warners. They said, ‘O our people, we have heard a Book revealed after Moses, confirming what came before it, guiding to the truth and to a straight path. O our people, respond to Allah’s caller and believe in him.’”

And the verses continue.

And He, Exalted is He, said:

“Indeed, those who were given knowledge before its revelation, when it is recited to them, fall upon their faces in prostration, saying, ‘Glory be to our Lord! Our Lord’s promise is surely fulfilled.’”

And the verse continues. And He, Exalted is He, said:

“The believers are only those whose hearts tremble when Allah is mentioned, and whose faith increases when His verses are recited to them.”

And He, Exalted is He, said:

“Whenever a surah is revealed, some of them say, ‘Which of you has this increased in faith?’ As for those who believe, it increases them in faith, and they rejoice. But as for those in whose hearts is disease, it adds impurity to their impurity, and they die as disbelievers.”

And He, Exalted is He, said:

“We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and a mercy for the believers, but it only increases the wrongdoers in loss.”

Likewise, He said:

“Say: It is guidance and healing for those who believe. But those who do not believe have deafness in their ears, and it is blindness for them.”

Similar to this is His saying:

“This is a clarification for mankind, and guidance and admonition for the God-fearing.”

The clarification extends to everyone who understands it, while the guidance and admonition are for the God-fearing.

And His saying:

“This is insight for mankind, and guidance and mercy
