and anything beyond these is either spurious and rejected or left undecided, its soundness or falsity unknown.

The Muslim community urgently needs to understand the Quran, which is Allah’s firm rope, the wise reminder, and the straight path. Through it, desires do not lead astray and tongues do not become confused. It never wears out through repeated recitation, its wonders never cease, and scholars never have their fill of it. Whoever speaks according to it speaks the truth; whoever acts upon it is rewarded; whoever judges by it judges justly; and whoever calls to it is guided to a straight path. Any tyrant who abandons it, Allah will crush; and whoever seeks guidance elsewhere, Allah will lead astray.

Allah Most High says:

“Then if guidance comes to you from Me, whoever follows My guidance will neither go astray nor fall into misery. But whoever turns away from My remembrance will have a life of hardship, and We will raise him blind on the Day of Resurrection. He will say, ‘My Lord, why have You raised me blind when I used to see?’ He will say, ‘Just as Our signs came to you and you forgot them, so today you will be forgotten.’”

Allah Most High also says:

“There has come to you from Allah a light and a clear Book, through which Allah guides those who seek His pleasure to the ways of peace, brings them out of darkness into light by His permission, and guides them to a straight path.”

Allah Most High also says:

“Alif Lām Rā. This is a Book We have sent down to you so that you may bring people out of darkness into light, by their Lord’s permission, to the path of the Almighty, the Praiseworthy—Allah, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on earth.”
