Allah Most High said:
“Indeed, We have sent you as a witness, a bearer of good tidings, and a warner.”
“So that you may believe in Allah and His Messenger, support him, and honor him.”
This concerns the Messenger. Then He said, concerning Allah Most High:
“And glorify Him morning and evening.”
Allah Most High said:
“My mercy encompasses all things. I shall ordain it for those who fear Me, give zakat, and believe in Our signs.”
“Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered Prophet, whom they find described in the Torah and the Gospel that they possess. He commands them to do what is right and forbids them from doing what is wrong, permits good things for them and forbids impure things, and relieves them of their burden and the shackles that were upon them. So those who believe in him, honor him, support him, and follow the light sent down with him—it is they who will prosper.”
Allah Most High said:
“Say, ‘If you love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. Allah is All-Forgiving, Most Merciful.’”
“Say, ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger.’ But if they turn away, then Allah does not love the disbelievers.”
Allah Most High said:
“Indeed, Allah and His angels send blessings upon the Prophet. O you who believe, send blessings upon him and greet him with peace.”
Allah Most High said:
“Say, ‘If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your spouses, your relatives, the wealth you have acquired, the trade whose decline you fear, and the homes you delight in are dearer to you than Allah, His Messenger, and striving in His cause, then wait.’”
He mentioned obedience to the Messenger in more than thirty places in the Quran, and said:
“O you who believe, respond to Allah and the Messenger when he calls you to that which gives you life.”
Allah Most High said:
“But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in their disputes, then find no discomfort within themselves concerning your judgment and submit wholeheartedly.”
Allah Most High said:
“So let those who oppose his command beware lest a trial befall them or a painful punishment afflict them.”
Allah Most High said:
“The only response of the believers, when called to Allah and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, is to say, ‘We hear and obey.’ And those
