Majmu' al-FatawaIbn Taimiya

innovation are more severe than others, and some adherents of innovation have more faith than others. No one may declare any Muslim an unbeliever, even if he has erred and made mistakes, until the proof has been established against him and the right path made clear to him. Anyone whose faith has been established with certainty does not lose that status on account of doubt; rather, it is lost only after the proof has been established and the misconception dispelled.

This answer cannot go into greater detail. We ask Allah to guide us and all our brothers to what He loves and is pleased with. Allah, glorified is He, knows best.
