Second: According to them, Allah is neither the Lord of the worlds nor the Owner of Dominion, since nothing exists but His existence. He cannot be His own Lord, nor can a king who is owned be the king who owns. They have explicitly professed this disbelief, despite its contradiction, saying that He is the King of Dominion on the grounds that His existence depends upon the entities of things, while the entities of things depend upon His existence. Thus, things own His existence, and so He is the King of Dominion.

Nor has He bestowed any blessing upon anyone, taught anyone any knowledge, or taught anyone articulate speech. In short, according to them, nothing whatsoever has reached anyone from Him: neither good nor evil, benefit nor harm, giving nor withholding, guidance nor misguidance. All these things are His very Self and nothing but His existence. Furthermore, in the view of the author of al-Fusūs (The Bezels), these entities are established in nonexistence, and it is the entities themselves that have done good and evil, brought benefit and inflicted harm. This, according to him, is the secret of divine decree. In the view of the others, however, there is no established entity other than Him at all. Rather, He Himself reproaches Himself, He Himself curses Himself, and He Himself kills Himself. He is the one provided for, beaten, and insulted; He is both the active and passive partner in sexual intercourse, both the eater and the eaten. They have stated this plainly and explicitly.
Fourth: According to them, Allah is the one who bows, prostrates, humbles Himself, and worships
