Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah said:
I have written on the foundations of these issues, setting out numerous rules and principles. This response, however, was written in haste, in a single sitting. May Allah Most High guide us and all our brethren to what He loves and is pleased with. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
قَالَ شَيْخُ الْإِسْلَامِ ابْنُ تَيْمِيَّة:
وَقَدْ كَتَبْت فِي أُصُولِ هَذِهِ الْمَسَائِلِ قَوَاعِدَ مُتَعَدِّدَةً وَأُصُولًا كَثِيرَةً وَلَكِنْ هَذَا الْجَوَابُ كُتِبَ وَصَاحِبُهُ مُسْتَوْفِزٌ فِي قَعْدَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَاَللَّهُ تَعَالَى يَهْدِينَا وَسَائِر إخْوَانِنَا لِمَا يُحِبُّهُ وَيَرْضَاهُ. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ.
