The Book of the Quran: Truly the Speech of Allah

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

All praise belongs to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon him after whom there is no prophet.

Shaykh al-Islām Abū al-‘Abbās Ahmad ibn Taymiyyah—may Allah be pleased with him—said:

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

All praise belongs to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and from our evil deeds. Whomever Allah guides, none can lead astray, and whomever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. He sent him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all religion, and Allah is sufficient as a witness. May Allah bestow blessings and abundant peace upon him.
