Abū ‘Uthmān al-Naysābūrī also said:
“Whoever subjects himself to the Sunnah in word and deed speaks with wisdom, while whoever subjects himself to his own desires in word and deed speaks with religious innovation, for Allah says: ‘If you obey him, you will be guided.’”
Statements like these abound in their words. Since this is so, no one may follow a path to Allah except through what the Messenger has prescribed for his community. He is the one who calls to Allah by His permission and guides to His path. Whoever obeys him will enter Paradise, and whoever disobeys him will enter the Fire. Through him, Allah has distinguished truth from falsehood, guidance from misguidance, and right conduct from waywardness.
The end. All praise is due to Allah, Lord of all worlds. May Allah send blessings and peace upon Muhammad and his Companions.
