“messengers bringing good news and warnings, so that people would have no argument against Allah after the messengers.”
Allah Most High said concerning the people of the Fire:
“Whenever a group is cast into it, its keepers will ask them, ‘Did no warner come to you?’”
“They will say, ‘Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied him and said: Allah has revealed nothing; you are only in great error.’”
He thus states that whenever a group is cast into the Fire, they acknowledge that a warner came to them and that they rejected him. This shows that every group cast into it consists of those who rejected the warner. Allah Most High also said, addressing Iblīs:
“I will surely fill Hell with you and all those among them who follow you.”
He thus states that He will fill it with Iblīs and his followers. Once it is filled with them, no one else will enter it. It is therefore clear that none will enter the Fire except those who followed Satan. This indicates that no one without sin will enter it, for such a person has neither followed Satan nor committed sin. What preceded also indicates that none will enter it except those against whom proof has been established through the messengers.
