all of this is included in Paradise, its inhabitants occupy differing ranks, as He says:

“See how We have favored some over others; but the Hereafter is greater in rank and greater in distinction.”

Everything a servant seeks of the Hereafter, whether through worship, supplication, or otherwise, is in Paradise. Seeking Paradise and refuge from the Fire is the way of Allah’s prophets and messengers and all His allies: the foremost who are brought near, and those of the right. Thus, it is related in the Sunan collections:

“The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, asked one of his Companions, ‘What do you say in your supplication?’

“He replied, ‘I say: O Allah, I ask You for Paradise and seek refuge in You from the Fire. But I do not know how to make murmured supplications like yours or those of Mu‘ādh.’

“He said, ‘Our murmured supplications revolve around these two.’”

He thus stated that his own murmured supplications, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and those of Mu‘ādh—the finest of the regular prayer leaders in Medina during the Prophet’s lifetime—revolved only around Paradise. Could anyone’s words, then, surpass those of Allah’s Messenger, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, Mu‘ādh, and the Emigrants and Helpers who prayed behind them? Whatever this servant were to seek, it would be within Paradise.

The people of Paradise are of two kinds: the foremost who are brought near, and the righteous, who are those of the right. Allah Most High says:

“No! Indeed, the record of the righteous is in ‘Illiyyūn.”

“And what will make you know what ‘Illiyyūn is?”

“A written record,”

“witnessed by those brought near.”

“Indeed, the righteous will be in bliss,”

“on couches, gazing.”

“You will recognize in their faces the radiance of bliss.”

“They will be given a sealed, pure wine to drink.”
