The shaykh also said:
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the worlds. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah bless him and grant him abundant peace.
To proceed:
Know that every sane adult, whether human or jinn, must bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship except Allah and that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. He sent him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all other religions, and sufficient is Allah as a witness.
He sent him to all creation: humans and jinn, Arabs and non-Arabs, Persians, Indians, Berbers, Romans, and all other non-Arab peoples, black and white. By non-Arabs is meant those who are not Arabs, whatever their languages.
Muhammad—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—was sent to everyone among humans and jinn, whether People of the Book or otherwise, concerning every inward and outward matter of religion: its beliefs, realities, paths, and laws. There is no creed but his creed, no reality but his reality, no path but his path, and no religious law but his religious law. No created being can reach Allah or attain His good pleasure, His Paradise, or the honor He bestows
