Majmu' al-FatawaIbn Taimiya

up to His words:

“and they stand in awe of Him.”

And He, Most High, says:

“They say, ‘The Most Merciful has taken a son.’”

“You have certainly said a monstrous thing,”

up to His words:

“There is no one in the heavens and the earth who will not come to the Most Merciful as a servant.”

“He has counted them and numbered them precisely.”

“And each of them will come to Him on the Day of Resurrection alone.”

He, Most High, says concerning the Messiah:

“He was only a servant whom We blessed and made an example for the Children of Israel.”

And He, Most High, says:

“To Him belongs whoever is in the heavens and the earth. Those in His presence are not too proud to worship Him, nor do they grow weary.”

“They glorify Him night and day, never slackening.”

And He, Most High, says:

“The Messiah would never disdain to be a servant of Allah, nor would the angels brought near to Him. Whoever disdains to worship Him and grows arrogant—He will gather them all to Himself,”

up to His words:

“and they will find no protector or helper besides Allah.”

And He, Most High, says:

“Your Lord says, ‘Call upon Me; I will answer you. Indeed, those who are too proud to worship Me will enter Hell, humiliated.’”

And He, Most High, says:

“Among His signs are the night and the day, the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or the moon, but prostrate to Allah, who created them, if it is Him that you worship.”

“But if they are too proud, those in the presence of your Lord glorify Him night and day, and never grow weary.”

And He, Most High, says:

“Remember your Lord within yourself, humbly and fearfully,”

up to His words:

“Indeed, those in the presence of your Lord are not too proud to worship Him. They glorify Him, and to Him they prostrate.”

These and similar passages, which describe the greatest of created beings as worshipping Him and condemn those who depart from this, occur frequently in the Quran. He has also stated that He sent all the messengers with this message.
