And He, exalted is He, says:
“He said, ‘My Lord, judge in truth. Our Lord is the Most Merciful, whose help is sought against what you allege.’”
Concerning His prohibition in matters of religion, He, exalted is He, says:
“Forbidden to you are carrion, blood, and the flesh of swine.”
“Forbidden to you are your mothers and your daughters”—to the end of the verse.
Concerning His prohibition governing creation, He, exalted is He, says:
“It is forbidden to them for forty years, during which they will wander through the land.”
And He, exalted is He, says:
“And those in whose wealth there is a recognized right for the beggar and the deprived.”
Concerning His words in matters of religion, He, exalted is He, says:
“And when Abraham’s Lord tested him with commands, which he fulfilled.”
Concerning His words governing creation, He, exalted is He, says:
“And your Lord’s gracious word to the Children of Israel was fulfilled because of their patience.”
Another example is the saying of the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, widely transmitted from him through numerous chains in the collections of authentic hadith, Sunan, and Musnads. When seeking refuge, he would say:
“I seek refuge in Allah’s perfect words, beyond which neither the righteous nor the wicked can pass.”
It is well known that these are His words governing creation: nothing falls outside His will and His act of creation. As for His words in matters of religion, the wicked have contravened them by disobeying Him.
The point here is that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, explained that the way is made easy for people to reach the final destinies of happiness or misery for which they were created, through the deeds that lead them there. The same applies to all other created things. He, glorified is He, creates children and other living creatures in wombs through His ordaining the mating of the two parents and the meeting of their two fluids in the womb. Thus, if someone were to say, “I put my trust in Allah and will not have intercourse with my wife, for if it has already been
