those who are not well versed in the knowledge of the prophets outweighs its benefit. For it contains unsound negative principles that have gained acceptance among many distinguished scholars and have caused their hypocrisy and corrupted their knowledge.
The claim that it is all true is false. Rather, their discussions of definition, essential and accidental attributes, the categories of syllogism, and demonstration and its premises contain errors that we have explained elsewhere. Muslim scholars have also explained this. And Allah knows best.
مَنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ خَبِيرًا بِعُلُومِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ أَكْثَرُ مِنْ نَفْعِهِ؛ فَإِنَّ فِيهِ مِنْ الْقَوَاعِدِ السَّلْبِيَّةِ الْفَاسِدَةِ مَا رَاجَتْ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِنْ الْفُضَلَاءِ وَكَانَتْ سَبَبَ نِفَاقِهِمْ وَفَسَادِ عُلُومِهِمْ. وَقَوْلُ مَنْ قَالَ إنَّهُ كُلَّهُ حَقٌّ كَلَامٌ بَاطِلٌ بَلْ فِي كَلَامِهِمْ فِي الْحَدِّ وَالصِّفَاتِ الذَّاتِيَّةِ وَالْعَرَضِيَّةِ وَأَقْسَامِ الْقِيَاسِ وَالْبُرْهَانِ وَمَوَادِّهِ مِنْ الْفَسَادِ مَا قَدْ بَيَّنَّاهُ فِي غَيْرِ هَذَا الْمَوْضِعِ وَقَدْ بَيَّنَ ذَلِكَ عُلَمَاءُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ وَاَللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
