Scholars must make clear that Allah Most High’s attributes are free of the deficiencies that the ignorant imagine in them, and that the words of Allah and His Messenger do not imply any such deficiency. They must also explain that the Quran is clarification, guidance and healing. If anyone nevertheless goes astray through it, that is due to his own negligence. As the Most High says:

“And We send down of the Quran that which is healing and mercy for the believers, but it increases the wrongdoers only in loss.”

And He says:

“Say, ‘For those who believe, it is guidance and healing.’ But those who do not believe have deafness in their ears, and it is blindness for them.”
