those who believe. He brings them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their protectors are false gods, who bring them out of light into darkness.”
He also says:
“We have certainly sent Our messengers with clear proofs, and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance so that people may uphold justice. And We sent down iron, in which there is great strength and benefits for people, so that Allah may know who supports Him and His messengers unseen. Indeed, Allah is All-Strong, Almighty.”
He also says:
“Mankind was one community. Then Allah sent the prophets as bearers of good tidings and warners, and sent down with them the Scripture in truth to judge between people concerning their differences. None differed over it except those who had been given it, after clear proofs had come to them, out of rivalry among themselves. Then Allah, by His permission, guided those who believed to the truth concerning which they had differed. Allah guides whom He wills to a straight path.”
When the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, rose to pray at night, he would say, as Muslim reported in his Sahīh:
“O Allah, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Isrāfīl, Originator of the heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the seen, You judge between Your servants concerning that over which they differed. Guide me, by Your permission, to the truth concerning which people have differed. Indeed, You guide whom You will to a straight path.”
