The two Sahīh collections also relate from Ibn Mas‘ūd:

“A Jewish man said to the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, ‘On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will hold the heaven on one finger, the earth on one finger, the trees and soil on one finger, the mountains on one finger, and all creatures on one finger.’

“He said: The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, laughed in amazement and in affirmation of the rabbi’s statement. Then he recited the verse beginning, ‘They have not esteemed Allah as He deserves.’”

Here is clear evidence from the acts of the Lord, blessed and exalted is He, that refutes the specious arguments of the philosophizers.
