and this has been transmitted through numerous independent channels among his community, both its learned members and the general populace. One of the Jews debated him on a question of this kind, saying:

“O Muhammad, you say that the people of Paradise eat and drink, but whoever eats and drinks must relieve himself.” The Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, replied, “Perspiration like musk.”

It is incumbent upon the ruler to put to death anyone who denies this, even if he outwardly affirms its wording. What, then, of someone who denies it all? Allah knows best.
