their Book is one, their religion is one, their Prophet is one, and their Lord is one God. There is no deity worthy of worship except Him. To Him belongs all praise in this world and the Hereafter; His is the judgment, and to Him you will be returned.

Allah Most High said:

“O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.”

“And hold firmly to the rope of Allah all together and do not become divided. Remember Allah’s favor upon you: you were enemies, then He brought your hearts together, and by His favor you became brothers. You were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His signs clear to you, so that you may be guided.”

“Let there be among you a group calling to good, enjoining what is right and forbidding what is wrong. It is they who will be successful.”

“And do not be like those who became divided and differed after clear proofs had come to them. For them there will be a tremendous punishment.”

“On the Day when some faces will turn white and some faces will turn black.”

Ibn ʿAbbās, may Allah be pleased with them both, said: “The faces of the people of the Sunnah and the united community will turn white, while the faces of the people of division and innovation will turn black.”

Fear Allah, fear Allah! Hold fast to unity and harmony in obedience to Allah and His Messenger and in striving in His cause. Allah will unite your hearts, expiate your sins, and grant you the good of this world and the Hereafter.

May Allah help us and you to obey and worship Him, keep us and you away from the path of disobedience to Him, grant us and you good in this world and good in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire. May He make us and you among those with whom Allah is pleased and for whom He has prepared Gardens of Bliss. He has power over all things. He is sufficient for us, and He is the best Guardian.

All praise belongs to Allah alone. May Allah bless our master and Prophet Muhammad, his family and his Companions, and grant them peace.

كِتَابَهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَدِينُهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَنَبِيُّهُمْ وَاحِدٌ وَرَبُّهُمْ إلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ لَا إلَهَ إلَّا هُوَ لَهُ الْحَمْدُ فِي الْأُولَى وَالْآخِرَةِ وَلَهُ الْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ. قَالَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى: {يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إلَّا وَأَنْتُمْ مُسْلِمُونَ} {وَاعْتَصِمُوا بِحَبْلِ اللَّهِ جَمِيعًا وَلَا تَفَرَّقُوا وَاذْكُرُوا نِعْمَةَ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ إذْ كُنْتُمْ أَعْدَاءً فَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِكُمْ فَأَصْبَحْتُمْ بِنِعْمَتِهِ إخْوَانًا وَكُنْتُمْ عَلَى شَفَا حُفْرَةٍ مِنَ النَّارِ فَأَنْقَذَكُمْ مِنْهَا كَذَلِكَ يُبَيِّنُ اللَّهُ لَكُمْ آيَاتِهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَهْتَدُونَ} {وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ} {وَلَا تَكُونُوا كَالَّذِينَ تَفَرَّقُوا وَاخْتَلَفُوا مِنْ بَعْدِ مَا جَاءَهُمُ الْبَيِّنَاتُ وَأُولَئِكَ لَهُمْ عَذَابٌ عَظِيمٌ} {يَوْمَ تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهٌ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهٌ} قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا تَبْيَضُّ وُجُوهُ أَهْلِ السُّنَّةِ وَالْجَمَاعَةِ وَتَسْوَدُّ وُجُوهُ أَهْلِ الْفُرْقَةِ وَالْبِدْعَةِ. فَاَللَّهَ؛ اللَّهَ. عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْجَمَاعَةِ والائتلاف عَلَى طَاعَةِ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ وَالْجِهَادِ فِي سَبِيلِهِ؛ يَجْمَعْ اللَّهُ قُلُوبَكُمْ وَيُكَفِّرْ عَنْكُمْ سَيِّئَاتِكُمْ وَيَحْصُلْ لَكُمْ خَيْرُ الدُّنْيَا وَالْآخِرَةِ. أَعَانَنَا اللَّهُ وَإِيَّاكُمْ عَلَى طَاعَتِهِ وَعِبَادَتِهِ وَصَرَفَ عَنَّا وَعَنْكُمْ سَبِيلَ مَعْصِيَتِهِ وَآتَانَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَوَقَانَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ وَجَعَلَنَا وَإِيَّاكُمْ مِمَّنْ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَأَعَدَّ لَهُ جَنَّاتِ النَّعِيمِ إنَّهُ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ وَهُوَ حَسَبُنَا وَنِعْمَ الْوَكِيلُ. وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ وَحْدَهُ وَصَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا وَنَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ.
