Shaykh al-Islām—may Allah be pleased with him and grant him His pleasure—also said:

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

All praise is due to Allah, who sent His messengers with clear proofs and guidance, and sent down with them the Scripture and the balance so that people might uphold justice. He sent down iron, containing mighty force and benefits for people, so that Allah may know who supports Him and His messengers without having seen Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful, Almighty.

He made Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, the last of His messengers, sending him with guidance and the religion of truth to make it prevail over all other religions. He strengthened him with supporting authority, combining knowledge and the pen to provide guidance and establish proof, and power and the sword to provide support and reinforcement.

I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without partner—a sincere testimony, purer than refined gold. And I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger—may Allah bestow abundant blessings and peace upon him, his family, and his Companions—a testimony whose bearer finds secure protection.
