plainly self-contradictory.

This also applies when people need someone to grind grain and bake bread for them because they cannot grind and bake in their homes as the people of Medina did in the time of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. They had no one who ground grain or baked bread for payment, nor anyone who sold flour or bread. Rather, they bought grain and ground it and baked it in their homes. They therefore had no need for price regulation. Those who brought grain would sell it, and people would buy it from these suppliers. Hence the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said:

Doing so would have required them to live there. Those who conquered it were the participants in the Pledge of Divine Pleasure, who had pledged allegiance beneath the tree. They numbered approximately fourteen hundred and were joined by those aboard Jaʿfar’s ship. These were the people among whom the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, divided the land of Khaybar. Thus, had there remained
