Allah’s word be supreme and religion be wholly for Allah. His supplications and those of others should accord with this, as Allah and His Messenger have commanded:

“O Allah, forgive the believers, men and women, and the Muslims, men and women. Unite their hearts, reconcile them, grant them victory over Your enemy and theirs, guide them along the paths of peace, and bring them out of darkness into light. Keep them away from shameful deeds, both open and hidden. Bless their hearing and sight for as long as You keep them alive. Make them grateful for Your blessings, praising You for them and accepting them, and complete those blessings upon them, O Lord of all worlds.

O Allah, grant victory to Your Book, Your religion, and Your believing servants. Make the guidance and the religion of truth with which You sent our Prophet Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, prevail over all other religions.

O Allah, punish the disbelievers and hypocrites who turn people away from Your path, alter Your religion, and show enmity towards the believers. O Allah, divide their counsels, sow discord among their hearts, make their own plotting bring about their destruction, and turn misfortune against them. O Allah, bring down upon them Your might, which cannot be averted from the guilty people. O Allah, You who drive the clouds, reveal the Book, and defeat the confederates: defeat them, shake them, and grant us victory over them.

Our Lord, help us and do not help others against us. Grant us victory and do not grant others victory over us. Plan in our favour and not against us. Guide us, make guidance easy for us, and grant us victory over those who wrong us.

Our Lord, make us grateful to You, obedient to You, humble before You, earnest in supplication, and ever turning to You. Our Lord, accept our repentance, wash away our sins, make our case firm, guide our hearts, and direct our tongues to what is right;
