to make manifest the guidance and religion of truth brought by the Messenger. For Allah, glorified is He, will surely support His Messenger and those who believe, both in this worldly life and on the Day when the witnesses stand forth. Whoever is the means through which this support comes will attain happiness in this world and the Hereafter. Otherwise, Allah will bring about that support through someone else and recompense each people for their deeds. Your Lord is never unjust to His servants.
Allah, glorified is He, has promised that this religion will continue to prevail, that it will prevail only through truth, and that whoever holds back from upholding the truth will be replaced by those who uphold it. The Most High says:
“O you who believe, what is the matter with you that, when you are told to go forth in the cause of Allah, you cling heavily to the earth? Are you content with the life of this world rather than the Hereafter? Yet the enjoyment of this worldly life is but little compared with the Hereafter.”
“If you do not go forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment and replace you with another people. You cannot harm Him at all, and Allah has power over all things.”
The Most High also says:
“O you who believe, whoever among you turns back from his religion—Allah will bring forth a people whom He loves and who love Him, humble toward the believers and firm toward the disbelievers. They strive in the cause of Allah and do not fear the blame of any critic. That is Allah’s bounty, which He grants to whom He wills. Allah is All-Bountiful, All-Knowing.”
Allah has shown people, within themselves and in the world around them, that which has enabled them to recognize the truth of what He has foretold, fulfilling His words:
“We will show them Our signs throughout the horizons and within themselves until it becomes clear to them that it is the truth. Is it not enough that your Lord is a witness over all things?”
Allah knows best. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
