Thus says Ahmad ibn ʿUmar al-Maqdisī al-Hanbalī.

Muhammad ibn al-Jarīrī al-Hanafī says likewise. However, he must certainly be imprisoned now, unconditionally.

The servant in need of Allah, Muhammad ibn Abī Bakr al-Mālikī, says likewise, if this is proven against him. Stern measures should be taken against him to the extent necessary to avert this and other harms.

Shaykh al-Islam—may Allah grant him a home in Paradise, amen—said:

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

There is no strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Magnificent.

Praise be to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help, and ask His forgiveness. We seek refuge in Allah from the evil within ourselves and from our evil deeds. Whoever Allah guides, none can lead astray; and whoever He leads astray, none can guide. I bear witness that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and Messenger. May Allah bless him, his family, and his Companions, and grant them abundant peace.
