none of you believes until I am dearer to him than his child, his father, and all mankind.” Indeed, the jihad he commanded must take precedence over all these, as Allah Most High says:

“Say, ‘If your fathers, your sons, your brothers, your spouses, your clan, the wealth you have acquired, the trade whose decline you fear, and the homes in which you delight are dearer to you than Allah, His Messenger, and striving in His cause, then wait until Allah brings about His command. Allah does not guide the defiantly disobedient people.’”

Allah Most High also says:

“But Allah and His Messenger have a greater right to be pleased, if they are believers.”
