The Sunnah is to spend the night at Muzdalifah until dawn, pray Fajr there at the beginning of its time, and then stand at the Sacred Monument until daylight is very bright, before sunrise. Those who are weak, such as women, children, and others like them, may leave Muzdalifah early for Minā once the moon has set. Those who are strong should not leave Muzdalifah until dawn has broken, they have prayed Fajr there, and they have stood there. It is recommended to say “Allah is the Greatest” with each pebble. If he wishes, he may also say:
“O Allah, make this an accepted pilgrimage and a rewarded endeavour, and grant forgiveness of sin.”
