‘Umar and Jābir. All three are also reported to have said that he combined umrah with Hajj. The reports of ‘Ā’isha and Ibn ‘Umar that he combined umrah with Hajj are more authentic than their reports that he performed Hajj alone. In the two Sahīhs, Hafsa reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, instructed his wives to come out of ihrām in the year of the Farewell Hajj. Hafsa asked, “What prevents you from coming out of ihrām?”
He replied, “I have matted my hair and garlanded my sacrificial animals, so I shall not come out of ihrām until I slaughter my sacrificial animals.”

Also in the two Sahīhs, Mujāhid said:
“‘Urwa ibn al-Zubayr and I entered the mosque and found ‘Abd Allāh ibn ‘Umar sitting beside ‘Ā’isha’s chamber. ‘Urwa asked him, ‘Abū ‘Abd al-Rahmān, how many umrahs did the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, perform?’
