In some narrations, it is mentioned that the angel fell, and the reader thought that it was the king and that it was Allah, and this is wrong and false. In summary, any hadith that contains {that the Prophet, peace be upon him, saw his Lord with his own eyes on earth} and contains {that He descended to the earth for him} and contains {that the gardens of paradise are from the steps of the Truth} and contains {that He stepped on the rock of Bayt al-Maqdis} all of this is false and invalid by the consensus of the Muslim scholars from the people of hadith and others. Likewise, anyone who claims that he saw his Lord with his own eyes before death, his claim is false by the consensus of Ahl al-Sunnah wa al-Jama'ah; because they all agreed that none of the believers will see his Lord with his own eyes until he dies. This is confirmed in Sahih Muslim from al-Nawwas ibn Sam'an from the Prophet, peace be upon him {that when he mentioned the Dajjal, he said: And know that none of you will see his Lord until he dies}. This is also narrated from the Prophet, peace be upon him, from other sources: warning his ummah of the fitna of the Dajjal and explaining to them "that none of them will see his Lord until he dies" so no one should think that this Dajjal he saw is his Lord. But what happens to the people of true faith from the knowledge of Allah and the certainty of hearts and their witnessing and manifestations is on many levels; the Prophet, peace be upon him, said {when Jibril, peace be upon him, asked him about Ihsan, he said: Ihsan is to worship Allah as if you see Him, for if you do not see Him, He sees you}.
