and Moses and Jesus.” And He, Most High, says:

“O messengers, eat of the good things and do righteous deeds. Indeed, I know all that you do.”

“And indeed, this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord, so fear Me.”

Other examples include belief in all of Allah’s Books and all of His messengers, as He, Most High, says:

“Say: ‘We believe in Allah and in what has been revealed to us, and in what was revealed to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and in what Moses and Jesus were given, and in what the prophets were given by their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.’”

Likewise, He, Most High, says:

“And say: ‘I believe in every Book Allah has sent down, and I have been commanded to judge justly between you.’”

And He, Most High, says:

“The Messenger believes in what has been sent down to him from his Lord, and so do the believers. All believe in Allah, His angels, His Books and His messengers: ‘We make no distinction between any of His messengers.’ And they say: ‘We hear and obey. We seek Your forgiveness, our Lord, and to You is the final return.’”

And so on to the end.

Other examples include belief in the Last Day and the reward and punishment it holds. Allah tells us that the believers of earlier communities believed in it, saying:

“Indeed, those who believe, the Jews, the Christians and the Sabians—whoever believes in Allah and the Last Day and does righteous deeds—will have their reward with their Lord. No fear will be upon them, nor will they grieve.”
