places where the Quran should not be taken. For belts, dirhams, dinars and the like are liable to be handled carelessly and disrespectfully. Although some scholars have permitted carrying dirhams inscribed with the Quran, this permission was granted because of the need to do so; they did not permit inscribing the Quran on them. And Allah knows best.
الْمَوَاضِعِ الَّتِي يُنَزَّهُ الْقُرْآنُ عَنْهَا. فَإِنَّ الْحِيَاصَةَ وَالدِّرْهَمَ وَالدِّينَارَ وَنَحْوَ ذَلِكَ. هُوَ فِي مَعْرِضِ الِابْتِذَالِ وَالِامْتِهَانِ. وَإِنْ كَانَ مِنْ الْعُلَمَاءِ مَنْ رَخَّصَ فِي حَمْلِ الدَّرَاهِمِ الْمَكْتُوبِ عَلَيْهَا الْقُرْآنُ فَذَلِكَ لِلْحَاجَةِ وَلَمْ يُرَخِّصْ فِي كِتَابَة الْقُرْآنِ عَلَيْهَا وَاَللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ.
