and the Sunnah, except what Allah wills. Rather, they cling to weak hadiths, unsound opinions, or accounts attributed to certain scholars and shaykhs that may be true or false. Even if they are true, the person concerned is not infallible. They cling to unverified reports from fallible speakers, while claiming authenticated transmission from the infallible speaker—namely, what trustworthy, reliable scholars have transmitted from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and recorded in authentic collections. The transmitters of these reports are deemed trustworthy by the unanimous agreement of the leading religious scholars, and the one from whom they transmit is infallible: he does not speak from his own desire; it is only revelation sent down to him. Allah Most High has required all people to obey and follow him.

Allah Most High says:

“But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge in their disputes, then find within themselves no resistance to your decisions and submit completely.”

And Allah Most High says:

“So let those who oppose his command beware, lest a trial afflict them or a painful punishment befall them.”

May Allah Most High guide us and all our fellow believers to the speech, deeds, guidance, and intentions that He loves and is pleased with. Allah knows best. All praise belongs to Allah alone.
