If one is unsure whether there is impurity on the sole of a leather sock, praying in it is not disliked. Even if one discovers with certainty after the prayer that it was impure, one need not repeat the prayer, according to the correct view. The same applies to impurity on the body, clothing or ground.

He was asked:

Is wearing a coat during prayer disliked if one intends to put one’s arms into its sleeves?

He replied:

Praise be to Allah. There is nothing wrong with that, for the jurists have stated that it is permissible. It is not like the disapproved manner of draping a garment, which involves resembling the Jews, since this way of wearing a coat is not characteristic of Jewish dress. And Allah knows best.

He was asked:

Is it permissible to pray in fur garments made from the skins of wild animals?

He replied:

Praise be to Allah. As for rabbit skin, it is undoubtedly permissible to pray in it. As for fox skin, there is disagreement, but the stronger view is that praying in it is permissible. The same applies to hyena skin and to every skin other than the skins of predatory beasts, which the Prophet—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—forbade wearing.
