rather than that of his heart, as Allah Most High says of them:

“Those are the ones whose hearts Allah does not will to purify.”

As for the believers, Allah has purified their hearts and bodies of foul things and has made wholesome things lawful for them. All praise is due to Allah—abundant, pure and blessed praise, such as our Lord loves and is pleased with.

He was asked:

May someone entering a bathhouse uncover his private parts when alone? What bathhouse etiquette should he observe?

He replied:

A person purifying himself need not uncover his private parts, whether alone or otherwise, provided he washes his entire body. However, he may uncover them in private for a need, such as washing or relieving himself, as established in the authentic hadith collection:

“Moses (peace be upon him) bathed naked, and Job (peace be upon him) bathed naked.”

The authentic collection also relates:

“Fātimah screened the Prophet (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) with a cloth while he bathed in the year of the conquest. He then prayed eight units of prayer.”

This is what is called the midmorning prayer. It is also said to be the prayer of victory. The authentic collection also relates:

“Maymūnah screened him while he bathed.”
