He was asked:
“If a boy dies uncircumcised, should he be circumcised after death?”
He replied:
No one is to be circumcised after death.
He was asked:
“How long may a man wait before shaving his pubic hair?”
He replied:
Anas—may Allah be pleased with him—reported:
“The Messenger of Allah—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—set them a time limit for shaving the pubic hair, plucking the underarm hair, and similar practices: they were not to leave these unattended for more than forty days.”
This is recorded in al-Sahīh. And Allah knows best.
What do the esteemed scholars—may Allah be pleased with them all—say concerning people who have their heads shaved by shaykhs and at graves that
وَسُئِلَ:
إذَا مَاتَ الصَّبِيُّ وَهُوَ غَيْرُ مَخْتُونٍ:
هَلْ يُخْتَنُ بَعْدَ مَوْتِهِ؟ .
فَأَجَابَ:
وَلَا يُخْتَنُ أَحَدٌ بَعْدَ الْمَوْتِ.
وَسُئِلَ:
كَمْ مِقْدَارُ أَنْ يَقْعُدَ الرَّجُلُ حَتَّى يَحْلِقَ عَانَتَهُ؟ .
فَأَجَابَ:
عَنْ أَنَسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُ
{أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَّتَ لَهُمْ فِي حَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ وَنَتْفِ الْإِبِطِ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ: أَلَّا يَتْرُكَ أَكْثَرَ مِنْ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا}
وَهُوَ فِي الصَّحِيحِ. وَاَللَّهُ أَعْلَمُ؟ .
مَا تَقُولُ السَّادَةُ الْعُلَمَاءُ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَجْمَعِينَ فِي أَقْوَامٍ يَحْلِقُونَ رُءُوسَهُمْ عَلَى أَيْدِي الْأَشْيَاخِ؛ وَعِنْدَ الْقُبُورِ الَّتِي
