In addition to these principles, they enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong as required by the Sharia. They hold that Hajj, jihad, Friday prayers, and Eid prayers should be conducted with the rulers, whether righteous or sinful, and they faithfully observe congregational prayers. They uphold sincere concern for the community as part of their religion and affirm the meaning of the Prophet’s saying, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:

“A believer is to another believer like a building, each part strengthening the other.”

He then interlaced his fingers, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. They also affirm his saying:

“The believers, in their mutual love, mercy, and compassion, are like a body: when one part suffers, the rest of the body responds with fever and sleeplessness.”

They enjoin patience in adversity, gratitude in prosperity, and contentment with the bitterness of divine decree. They call for noble character and good deeds, and affirm the meaning of his saying:

“The believers whose faith is most complete are those whose character is best.”

They encourage you to maintain ties with those who sever ties with you, give to those who withhold from you, and pardon those who wrong you. They enjoin dutifulness to parents, maintaining ties of kinship, being good neighbours, kindness to orphans, the needy, and wayfarers, and gentleness toward slaves; and they forbid boasting
