and some like riders on camels. Some will run, some will walk, and some will crawl, while others will be snatched away and cast into Hell. For the bridge has hooks that seize people according to their deeds. Whoever crosses the Sirāt will enter Paradise.

Once they have crossed it, they will stop at a bridge between Paradise and Hell, where redress will be exacted from some on behalf of others. When they have been cleansed and purified, they will be permitted to enter Paradise. The first to ask for the gate of Paradise to be opened will be Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and the first community to enter Paradise will be his community.

He, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, will have three intercessions on the Day of Resurrection:

The first: his intercession for those gathered for judgment will be accepted, so that judgment may be passed among them, after the prophets—Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus son of Mary—have each declined to intercede, until it falls to him.

The second: his intercession for the people of Paradise to enter Paradise will be accepted. These two intercessions are exclusive to him.

The third: his intercession for those who deserve the Fire will be accepted. This intercession belongs to him, to the other prophets, to the utterly truthful, and to others. Intercession will be accepted for those who deserve the Fire so that they do not enter it, and for those who have entered it so that they may come out of it.
