Included in belief in Allah and His Books is belief that the Quran is the speech of Allah, revealed and uncreated. It originated with Him and to Him it returns; Allah Most High truly spoke it, and this Quran, which He sent down to Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, is truly Allah’s speech, not the speech of anyone else.
It is not permissible to state without qualification that it is a representation of Allah’s speech or an expression of it. Rather, when people recite it or write it in copies of the Quran, it does not thereby cease to be truly the speech of Allah Most High. For speech is properly attributed to the one who first uttered it, not to the one who conveys and transmits it. It is Allah’s speech, both its letters and its meanings. Allah’s speech is neither the letters without the meanings nor the meanings without the letters.

Also included in what we have mentioned concerning belief in Him, His Books, and His Messengers is belief that the believers will see Him directly with their own eyes on the Day of Resurrection, just as they see the sun in a clear sky with no clouds obscuring it, and just as they see the moon on the night of the full moon, without suffering any difficulty in seeing Him. They will see Him, glorified is He, while they are on the gathering grounds of the Resurrection. Then they will see Him after entering Paradise, as Allah, glorified and exalted is He, wills.
