“Gabriel.”
They asked, “And who is with you?”
He replied, “Muhammad.”
They said, “Has he been sent for?”
He answered, “Yes.”
They said, “Welcome to him; what an excellent arrival!”
The gate was then opened, and when I entered I found Aaron.
Gabriel said, “This is Aaron; greet him.”
I greeted him, and he returned the greeting and said, “Welcome, righteous brother and righteous prophet.”
Gabriel then ascended with me to the sixth heaven and asked that it be opened.
It was said, “Who is this?”
He answered, “Gabriel.”
They asked, “And who is with you?”
He replied, “Muhammad.”
They said, “Has he been sent for?”
He replied, “Yes.”
They said, “Welcome; what an excellent arrival!”
The gate was opened, and when I entered I found Moses.
Gabriel said, “This is Moses; greet him.”
I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, saying, “Welcome, righteous brother and righteous prophet.”

They asked, “And who is with you?”
He replied, “Muhammad.”
They said, “Has he been sent for?”
He answered, “Yes.”
They said, “Welcome to him; what an excellent arrival!”
The gate was opened, and when I entered I saw Abraham.
Gabriel said, “This is Abraham; greet him.”
I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, saying, “Welcome, righteous son and righteous prophet.”

I replied, “I have been ordered to perform fifty prayers every day.”
He said, “Your community will not be able to bear fifty prayers. I have tried people before you and dealt with the Children of Israel most strenuously. Return to your Lord and ask Him to lighten the burden for your community.”
So I returned, and ten prayers were removed.
I went back to Moses, and he asked, “What have you been commanded?”
I said, “With forty prayers every day.”
He replied, “Your community will not be able to manage forty prayers every day. I have experience with people before you and dealt with the Children of Israel most strenuously. Return to your Lord and ask Him to lighten the burden for your community.”
So I returned, and another ten were removed.
I came back to Moses and he asked, “What have you been commanded?”
I said, “I have been commanded with thirty prayers every day.”
He said, “Your community will not…"
