The Danger of Slandering the Scholars:

To revile certain scholars or students of knowledge, branding them as ignorant of Fiqh al-Wāqiʿ and hurling at them accusations so shameful that one hesitates even to mention them, is a plain and manifest error that must not be allowed to continue. Such behaviour stems from mutual hatred—an attitude the Prophet’s many hadiths explicitly forbid. Instead, those narrations command the very opposite: mutual love, reconciliation, and cooperation.
