How does Allah’s help arrive?

It is unanimously agreed—praise be to Allah—among the Muslims that the meaning of the verse “If you support Allah” is this: if you carry out what He has commanded you, Allah will grant you victory over your enemies.

One of the most significant texts that confirms this meaning and speaks directly to the reality we are living—diagnosing both the sickness and the cure—is the Prophet’s ﷺ words: “When you enter into ʿīnah transactions, grasp the tails of cattle, become content with agriculture, and abandon jihad, Allah will place humiliation over you, and He will not remove it from you until you return to your religion.” I have documented this hadith in my book Ṣilsilat al-Aḥādīth al-Ṣaḥīḥah (no. 11).
