Mukhtaṣar al-ShamāʾilAl-Tirmidhi

he said, “Whenever the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—acquired a new garment, he would name it according to its type, whether a turban, a shirt, or a cloak, and then say:

‘O Allah, to You belongs all praise; You have clothed me with it. I ask You for its good and the good purpose for which it was made, and I seek refuge in You from its evil and the evil purpose for which it was made.’”
