42 – Ibn ʿAbbās reported that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: [Sound]
“Apply ithmid (antimony) kohl, for it clears the eyesight and stimulates hair growth.”
[Very weak] It is also alleged that the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, kept a kohl container from which he would apply it. [44]
٤٢ - عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ أَنَّ النبي ﷺ َ قال:
(صحيح)
(اكْتَحِلُوا بِالْإِثْمِدِ فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ)
(ضعيف جدا) وزعم أن النبي ﷺ َ كَانَتْ لَهُ مُكْحُلَةٌ يَكْتَحِلُ مِنْهَا
