32 – (Ṣaḥīḥ)
Simak ibn Ḥarb said: I heard Jābir ibn Samurah being asked about the grey hairs of the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him. He replied: “Whenever he applied oil to his hair, no greyness could be seen, but when he left it unoiled some grey would show.”
In another version: “No grey hair was visible on the head of the Messenger of Allah except a few strands at the parting of his hair; when he oiled it, the oil concealed them.”
