Ibn Sīrīn said: “This study of hadith is part of the religion, so examine carefully from whom you take your religion.”

The abridgement of Imām al-Tirmidhī’s al-Shamāʾil al-Muḥammadiyya, together with its annotation, was concluded on Thursday, 3 Rabīʿ al-Awwal 1401 AH.

Glory and praise be to You, O Allah; I bear witness that there is no deity but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.

Its collation with the original, final correction, and preparation for printing were completed at mid-morning on Sunday, 23 Rajab 1402 AH. All praise is due to Allah, by whose favor righteous deeds are perfected.
