My father said, “I then reported this to Ibn ʿAbbās and told him, ‘I have indeed seen him.’ I mentioned al-Ḥasan ibn ʿAlī, adding, ‘I found him to resemble him.’ Ibn ʿAbbās replied, ‘He truly did resemble him.’”
