Abu Malik al-Ashjaʿi, reporting from his father, said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) declared, “Whoever sees me in a dream has in fact seen me.”

Abu ʿIsa said: This Abu Malik is Saʿd ibn Tariq ibn Ashyam. Tariq ibn Ashyam was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and related several hadith from him.
