Ibn ʿAbbās reported: “The Prophet ﷺ stayed in Mecca for thirteen years while revelation was coming to him, and ten years in Medina, and he passed away at the age of sixty-three.”

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ:
(مكث النبي ﷺ َ بِمَكَّةَ ثَلَاثَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَبِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا وَتُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَلَاثٍ وستين)
