309 – Authentic

Ḥumayd narrated: Anas ibn Mālik was asked about the cupper’s earnings. He replied:

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ once had himself cupped, and the one who performed the cupping was Abū Taybah. The Prophet ordered that he be given two sāʿs of food, and he spoke to his owners so they reduced the levy they used to charge him. He also said, ‘The best remedy you can use is cupping,’ or, ‘Among the best remedies you can use is cupping.’”
