303 – (Authentic)
Ibn ʿAbbās (may Allah be pleased with them) said:
"The Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—was the most generous of all people in doing good, and he was never more generous than during the month of Ramadan, until it was over. Gabriel would come to him and review the Quran with him, and whenever Gabriel met him, the Messenger of Allah—peace and blessings be upon him—was more generous in doing good than the free-blowing wind."

عن ابن عباس ﵄ قال:
(كان رسول الله ﷺ َ أَجْوَدَ النَّاسِ بِالْخَيْرِ وَكَانَ أَجْوَدَ مَا يَكُونُ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ حَتَّى يَنْسَلِخَ فَيَأْتِيهِ جِبْرِيلُ فَيَعْرِضُ عَلَيْهِ الْقُرْآنَ فَإِذَا لَقِيَهُ جِبْرِيلُ كَانَ رسول الله ﷺ َ أَجْوَدَ بِالْخَيْرِ مِنَ الرِّيحِ المرسلة)
