269 – Qatadah reported: “I asked Anas ibn Malik, ‘How was the Messenger of Allah’s recitation?’ He replied, ‘He would elongate the sounds.’

270 (Sound) – Umm Salamah said: “The Prophet would separate the phrases of his recitation. He would say, ‘All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds,’ then pause; then say, ‘The All-Merciful, the Ever-Merciful,’ then pause; and he would recite, ‘Master of the Day of Judgment.’ ⦗166⦘
